The Harbour City Backpackers has a very prominent location on a corner
block in Woolloomooloo, an inner city suburb of Sydney. It's bounded by Sir John Young Crescent
(west), Crown Street
(east) and at the rear of the building Cathedral Street (south). Opposite
The Harbour City Backpackers is The Domain, and the entrance to the
Domain car park. The Domain is a large grassy public area that is often
used as an entertainment venue for all types of Sydney events. Located in and around
the Domain grounds there are playing fields, walkways, cafes, many large
shady trees and the Art Gallery of NSW. In the background is Sydney's horizon with Sydney Tower
being the most prominent feature. We are also a very short walk from
several pubs, clubs, shops, cafes and places to eat.
