Cross in Sydney is widely known to be Sydney's
red-light district... Most naughty or curious
backpackers and travellers to Sydney at
one time or another have visited "the
Cross". Its considered to have an awesome
night life with its pubs & clubs. Of
a weekend it always attracts locals, tourists
and of course backpackers due to it's lively
atmosphere... Kings cross has strip clubs,
topless waitresses, adult bookstores and
funky nightclubs however it also has a great
blend of very trendy cafes & restuarants.

Cross... and the best part is your accommodation

Kings
Cross can be considered a little sleazy
at night, when the neon lights turn on and
the action hots up. It safe enough during
the day but late at night tourists, backpackers
& general visitors to the area should
be careful, its not unusual to hear of a
wayward drinking buddy being hassled in
The Cross with belongings stolen.
You will see some pretty interesting sights
around the Cross both day and night, its
an area of Sydney frequented by people from
all walks of life, so if you're new to the
alternative lifestyles of Sydney; take the
advice that its ok to look in passing, but
don't stare... and definitely dont comment
as this could land you in trouble with some
locals.
